Tia Dashon Mowry-Hardrict is an American actress. She first gained recognition for her starring role as Tia Landry in the sitcom Sister, Sister, opposite her twin sister Tamera Mowry. The sisters then starred together in the Disney Channel Original Movie Twitches and its sequel, Twitches Too. The two also starred in the fantasy comedy film Seventeen Again and voiced the LaBelle sisters in the animated series Detention. They were featured in the reality series Tia & Tamera from 2011 to 2013. Mowry voiced Sasha in the animated series Bratz. She starred as Melanie Barnett in the comedy-drama series The Game, Stephanie Phillips in the sitcom Instant Mom and Cocoa McKellan in the sitcom Family Reunion. Mowry had starring roles in the teen comedy film The Hot Chick, the musical comedy film The Mistle-Tones, the romantic comedy film Baggage Claim and the drama film Indivisible. Mowry and her sister, Tamera, formed a singing group in the early 1990s called Voices.
From 1994 to 1999, she starred in the ABC series Sister, Sister alongside her identical twin sister Tamera Mowry. She then went on to play Melanie Barnett Davis on The Game and Stephanie Phillips on Nickelodeon's Instant Mom. She started acting in the Netflix original series Family Reunion in 2019.
